Dragon's Egg - Notes from Lily's little datapad.

Lily's datapad. It was there on the floor, almost as if it had been dropped and abandoned. The camera function was left on, and seems to have captured some of what happened.

A wave came in and was viewed.

A photograph was seen. Lily's face goes dark at the sight of what was in the photograph. There is some sign of movement as she bends down and removes something from her left foot, and then from her right foot. Looking more closely at the recording, you can see she has removed her stockings.

As the datapad records its own fall to the ground, you can see the stockings on the floor.

She can be seen walking away from the datapad, toward her small tent. She does not go to her larger tent, the one prepared for herself and AuroraBlue. She goes instead to the small one, the one with flap door. As she walks, she looks neither to the left or the right. She does not speak.

The videos sound is not active. However, the flap door is open and you can see inside. She lays down, without taking off her fabrics, or putting on her kitty nightgown. Then you see her get up, and kneel by the side of her sleeping bag. She appears to be praying, but is so quiet you cannot hear what she is saying.

After some time, she gets up, makes a few small circles, in an almost habitual manner, and then lays down on the sleeping bag. The tent flap has become loose with her circling about, and it starts to call closed. As it does, you can see her say what appears to be five words before closing her eyes. Something about Gallagher, hard to say because she only turns her face in the direction of the dropped device right before she closes her eyes. Five words, whispered more like a prayer than anything else, and then nothing but a view of the tent as the door has fallen all the way down.

The notes on the Datapad were not erased.

She shut down, leaving everything just as it was, leaving the datapad, her diary, everything, just where they were.

Dragons Egg. We call it that cause it look like that big glowing ball in Blue Sun System. But, it just the opposite of that place. There, it hot. Here on Dragon's Egg, it cold. Very very cold.

This one sneak down to surface, and guess what? There frozed water everywhere. Sometimes if you touches it, it turn to water. Sensors activated in this one's skin say it freezingest place ever seen.

Also, I finded some big spiders that bite.

The brave ones will come down today and look, but knowing them, if the past any indication, they not want to actually stay on the ice. Probably stay on the station, if BlueSun let us keep it. I think maybe that is what them do cause of I seen them had fings come in the dark time, and put in one floor of this place.

Them things being mostly electronics and sand, in a jar.

I not gots lot of time to stay sneaked down here also but....fortunately I gots some time. I find there look to be like, leftover fings. Like someone was here before. It not like them tell us. This not a brand new place. I finded some frozen papers, which I hided now and will show doctor, maybe the doctor that know plants. In the papers I can see there is some like pictures of this place, only is all looking like flowers and trees and it pretty. There butterfly sticked to the one page, but it frozed up, so cannot eat him. I look him up in a book. Butterfly. That a funny name.

One place, I finded there was actually a distribution point of somefing you can use to ride around. It old, rusty, but them works. Not sure how they powered. But they works. It some kind of replication machine or somefing, just keep making. Hope it not run out cause it fun to ride on them little ...well, not sure what is they called. Maybe like ATV. Sure got good traction, that a sureness. Only fing, if they got higher than gear of 3, they gets unstable and so there a note that say "For Ground Use Only. Do not use flying gears".

I taked one of them and went around under the snow and on the snow and it just like, in the pictures. Almost like when Miss x0x0 bringed in all that Christmas from BlueSun some years back. Then I seen what I had heard crying, it like a big dog only it got meaner teef. Yep. It a wolf for sure.

Spiders and wolf. That not very friendly, but maybe them is good for eating. Cept them is frozen, and I not want to shoot the pretty wolf cuz maybe him be my friend.

I see them gots the bar of Nack placed, pretty much it look same except some cracks from moving, and of course, when that snow falls, it get on the building. Also sometimes in. Him really gots to fix roof, for sure. I mean to say, snow pretty but sometimes it turn to water.

There somefing else. I finded somefing like, it look almost like a long house but it almost impossible to see. It like, hides in the other snow, cause it is white too. I seen it from a ways off cause my eyes is good, you know. Noffing moving inside it. Can't see inside it, anyway. Even windows looks like the snow. But sensors say nuffing alive in there.

Only...them also say somefing was in there.

So them lie to us. Somefing not right about this place. They say it new. It not. They say nuffing here. There is. Them say ....lot of fings. Information about this place in the databank been wipe clean and so it supposed to be new. But it not.

I need tell them, them up in the station. Watch. Wait and watch. Somefing just not right.

Oh I got to stop writing and see ..I got a wave, it from Gallagher.

Two days have passed. Lily is still ''resting'' in her tent. One of the Alliance that has been helping patrol has found the datapad. He leaves it on the desk in what was the Mayors tent, figuring eventually someone will claim it.

An old man is on his way to the station, an old friend. His name is Sobi. A Bartender that once ran a public house of intoxication on Hale's Moon. Word has it, he's coming to add some festivity to the space station, give the people a place to congregate other than around the makeshift tent city campfire.
